I started to get rid of the old paint and some parts were painted in primer.
The finishing touch was done by the professionals , the company “Vermeulen”
at the Gouderaksedijk in Gouda.
This paint and bodywork firm was only one
year in business and they had already achieved a good reputation.
A price was agreed without time limit. Quite normal because a modern car that needs to
be repaired immediately must be given preference.
La Reina Negra stood at the company “Vermeulen” for more than 6 months.
The company used a two pack acrylic urethane enemel black paint.
The final result was amazing!!!

Today , after 26 years !! , La Reina Negra still has it´s paintwork from 1983.
Very few people can believe this , after examining the paintwork of
La Reina Negra.
The paint and bodywork company “Vermeulen” is situated in Gouda.
The company is still one of the best in it´s field.

THE CHROME WORK
In 1983 , all chrome parts of La Reina Negra were re-chromed.
The headlights were originally black with a chrome band. At a later stage the black paint
was removed from the headligths and these were chromed as well.
