THE YEAR 1988: PARISI studied French at “Eurocentre”. This Swiss college was situated next to the river Seine in the area called “Pont Neuf”. During my studies I stayed at the house of Madame Loridant. She was a widow with three sons. During breakfast the French bread was thrown at each other over the table……. Madame Loridant was in favour of the (extreme) right and her eldest son supported the socialist party. It was election time and I went to see the speeches of both sides . It must be said , the French didn´t change at all since 1789 !! They were and they will be revolutionists forever but that is not negative at all .. Let´s face reality , we would never had a Traction Avant if it had not been built in country of the revolutionists , called France !

After I passed my exams at the “Eurocentre” , I decided to set up a small business with La Reina Negra in Paris. First I had to go back to the Netherlands to pick up the classic car. During my rainy journey from Holland to Paris , the screenwiper motor suddenly failed. No problem with this car , the wipers can still be moved by hand !! At arrival I had hardly any feeling anymore in my left hand…… |
